l MS. MILLARD: May I ask one more question?
THE COURT: June 23rd.
MR. MOORE: June 23rd.
THE DEFENDANT: I think that's okay.
THE COURT: June 23rd.
MR. MOORE: June 23rd, your Honor. I had a
question also. I note you have a court reporter here today
which is a little unusual for an unlawful detainer. I
didn't know if she was here in a training purpose or she is
actually --
THE COURT: She is my court reporter.
MR. MOORE: Oh. So you always report these?
THE COURT: Yes.
MR. MOORE: So then we can --
THE COURT: No.
MR. MOORE: We can't order a copy --
THE COURT: You can't have a transcript unless you
want to pay the $510 for the transcript --
MR. MOORE: Right. I mean --
THE COURT: -- and the court reporter --
MR. MOORE: -- we have to get approval through
legal aid. But clearly it is our intention, if appropriate,
to file an appeal. So we are happy to get as best a record
as we can.
THE COURT: A1l you have to do is pay the court
reporter fees. It will be 255 for today, come back on
