2      Q Did you execute that search warrant?

3      A Yes, I did.

4      Q Is that in the county of San Bernardino?

5      A Yes, it is.

6      Q Who did you execute that search warrant with?

7      A Detective Barta from the Narcotics Division,

8 Deputy Wolfe, Sergeant Zack Sandera, both of the Morongo

9 Basin sheriff substation.

10      Q When you first walked in the house to execute

11 the search warrant, tell the court what you observed.

12      A I first observed, it would be in the southeast

13 corner of the living room area a large closet with the

14 door open. It was a wooden closet. It appeared to have

15 been added after the room was made. That closet door was

16 open and I observed green leafy plants growing in the

17 closet that I recognize from my training and experience as

18 being consistent with that of marijuana.

19      Q How many green leafy plants did you see growing

20 in this closet?

21      A Eventually during the collection, I collected 12

22 from that closet.

23      Q And would you characterize them as being mature

24 or immature plants?

25      A They were in various stages. From seedling

26 to -- I wouldn't describe them as mature. Maybe mid

27 growth.
