15 Constitution you have a right against self-incrimination?

16      THE DEFENDANT: Yes, I do.

17      THE COURT: You understand by taking the stand and

18 testifying on your own behalf, you open yourself up to

19 cross-examination that may be incriminating?

20      THE DEFENDANT: Yes.

21      THE COURT: Based on that, sir, do you waive that

22 right of self-incrimination for purposes of testifying
