1       A To be perfectly frank I would have -

2       Q I don't want you to be frank if you are going to

3  incriminate yourself.

4       There is only one reason you should be using it.

5       MR. ADAMS: He's waived his right.

6       THE COURT: He's waived his right.

7       A I use it for medical reasons. I would use it

8  for medical reasons no matter what Dr Sterner said.

9       Q (BY MR. SASNETT:) What if he told you to obey

10 the law?

11      A I am obeying the law. He did tell me. We 

12 discussed the law. I understand I am in compliance with

13 State law.

14      Q You believe you are in compliance with State

15 law?

16      A Oh, yes.

17      MR. SASNETT: Nothing further

18      THE COURT: Cross.

23      Q What was the doctor's name? Sterner?

24      A That's right.

25      Q You said you and he sat down and discussed the

26 law. Do you remember the nature of the conversations?

27 Did he explain to you what the nature of the law
