Inside the kitchen area directly outisde the living room located on the east side of the residence itself
were numerous bottles of liquid plant food some of which were labeled Fox Farm, Mad Farmer,
Miracle Grow, Dana Grow.
From the bedroom in the north side of the residence 2 complete set of grow lamps and ballast, 8
large marijuana plants approximately 3-3½ feet tall, 2 autmoatic timers, a thermometer and 2 more
posted physicians statements for medical marijuana.
This evidence was collected and kept as evidence or sent to Sheriff's crime labs for sampling.
SUSPECTED MARIJUANA
Listed evidence items A through E were sent to Sheriff's crime lab for positive analysis as marijuana.
The remains of the suspected marijuana plants were placed in one bag and sent to Sheriff's crime lab
for weight only.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DET. M. BARTA
Det. BARTA told me before CANADA was taken into custody he advised him of his Miranda rights
and asked him if he was going to be willing to speak to us about the suspected marijuana and at that
time CANADA made no statements. Det. BARTA told me he believed CANADA would make no
statements. Det. BARTA told me he believed CANADA would make no statements to the marijuana
even if I went to jail and interviewed him.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REPORTING PARTY BONITA MILLARD
I contacted millard at her apartment and introduced myself. I asked her if I could talk to her about her
neighbor Jeff Canada and she invited me in.
The following is a summary of her statements. Millard told me she has lived at the home for the past
11 years. She told me that Canada has lived in the apartment for the past year and pays 385.00 a
month rent plus 100.00 for utilities. Which includes electricity, water, cable, washer and dryer. She
told me since September the electric bill has gone up by at least 25.00 a month. She told me that
