- He obtained several early state land grants in this area and owned part of the 400 acre land grant of Wendel Shealy. This area is the site of the Fulmer Family Cemetery (Lake Murray Option No. 563, Lake Murray Records). This cemetery is located at the edge of Lake Murray at the end of R. B. Baker Road. The descendants of the son, Adam Fulmer, lived in this immediate vicinity.
